Current Accomplishments
The Release Managment Office and Change Management Office authorizes and implements changes into the production environment. This was designed and implemented and the Change Management portion included the development of the Infrastructure Management and Approvals System (IMAP). IMAP ensures that technicians and managers alike know what is being implemented and if a change has the appropriate approvals. Then, as Change Management matured, the implemented Release Management Office encompasses not only Infrastructure but Applications releases as well for a comprehensive schedule for release sets.
The design and implementation of these ITIL-based functions has allowed these areas in managing the production environment and assessing system support group performance. It has also allowed the subsequent alignment of both Infrastructure and Application releases. Planning has improved and will continue to progress as the weekly, monthly and yearly schedules and overviews of all releases continue to be communicated in a timely and accurate fashion throughout the organization.
Earlier accomplishments
Created and directed a technology unit (the Performance Management Group). In this area, retention was excellent and talent was always being developed for emerging, business-aligned needs. Strategies included focusing on aptitude rather than skill, and the fostering of a change orientation where movement among various knowledge disciplines was not only encouraged but expected.
As a result various systems such as the AMS (Asset Management System); the IT Support Tracking System (Oracle ERP); the IT internal intranet site (Manage IT) and the Enterprise Scorecard assisted IT at all levels of the organization. This included applications that serviced the areas of support and knowledge management, performance reporting and various intranet sites.
As a proven senior-level management professional in information systems, over the years Diane has gained comprehensive experience in ITIL Release Management, ITIL Change Management, P&L responsibility, corporate policies and procedures, strategies and effective organizational change management. Additionally, strong relationship management skills, including customer/vendor contract negotiations, service level attainment and internal customer satisfaction have enable Diane to achieve consistent high performance for her employers.
